Early Summer Fun at PFC!

Hello PFC Peeps!

Thanks for making this past weekend's Owner Appreciation Days special by showing your smiling faces! We ran out of a few things due to heavier than anticipated traffic. Thank you for that! We'll continue to improve the experience every time you shop!

This coming weekend, there are several fun connecting community events that I want to make sure you're aware of:

  • Juneteenth Celebration at Kalamazoo Valley Museum - Sat, June 15, 1-4pm -  Juneteenth is a celebration created by African-Americans to help commemorate the emancipation of slavery.  Soul Artistry LLC is hosting this free, family friendly event that will consist of vendors, performances, film viewings, activities for the entire family, intentional educational components, visual arts and lots of celebrating!
  • Native Garden Tour - Sat, June 15, 1-2pm at PFC. Come tour our native plant gardens with an expert tour guide from Kalamazoo Area Wild Ones. The gardens are really starting to get showy, so we hope you can come see what's possible with natives, and why it matters.
  • Kalamazoo Farmers Market, this Thursday 2-6pm, and Saturday, 7am-2pm, of course! See you there!

This Saturday is also the due date for applications from candidates for PFC Board of Directors. We need your vision and partnership! Learn more here

We are searching for the next great manager of the Kalamazoo Farmers Market and PFC special events. Is it you? If so, please check out our posting by scrolling down here. Applications are due Friday, June 21. Thank you!

Finally, SAVE THE DATE for PFC's 2019 Annual Owner Meeting and Party, Sunday, July 14, here at the store!

See your smile soon!
